Maine County Criminal Searches
Our research department has reported information that we feel must act on immediately to continue to give our clients the most comprehensive information available. The counties in Maine have segmented their criminal data coverage into districts. This means that a county may now consist of several districts, with each having a $15 surcharge. To counteract what we believe is nothing more than an attempt to increase county revenue, we have decided to eliminate the Maine county criminal record searches, and instead conduct a Statewide search which encompasses all counties. There is a $25 surcharge for the state, but we believe it will be a substantial savings in both time and money while at the same time, obtaining the best information available. This change will be in affect beginning March 5, 2008. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
